Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District, Summer Institute 2006

In August of 2006, Amanda Arens presented at the Summer Institue 2006 for the
Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District. Her presentations were on
SSR in Big Blocks and Advanced Four Blocks. Below are some of the comments

Alaska Literacy Conference
October 14-15, 2004
Mrs. Arens presented at the Alaska Literacy Conference in Fairbanks, Alaska on
Oct 14th and 15th 2004. She presented on the Four-Blocks®
Literacy Framework to over 130 enthusiastic teachers in a filled to
capacity room. She was excited to present
in the great state of Alaska and
the response to her presentation was an example of how well the Framework and
Mrs. Arens
are received. As one teacher commented when speaking to Amanda,
"I really like the way
you presented it (Four-Blocks).
I'm really glad you're here."
Or another who said, "She's good, it's
nice to go to a seminar and listen to someone who knows
what she is talking
about." If you haven't heard Amanda Arens, you are missing
something!
